Scale and power. Mock-Ups in Close-Up: Architectural models in film 1927-2010

A conspicously large number of the architecural model which are physically present in Mock-Ups in Close-Up, a video compilation currently numbering some 141 film sequences, are destroyed in the course of the clip. As drastic as such a demise may be, it is actually only an extreme visualization of the questions of power that model on celluloid raise: the ones that are destroyed are the ones that seek to demonstrate too much power.
